Most of us spend our weekdays chasing paper and working to pay our bills, so it’s only proper to unwind during the weekend.
I personally love Fridays, because they give me time to relax, rest the brain and plan towards the next week. The catch with the weekend is, if you don’t make the most of it, it will pass by you like a flash.
So here are a number of things you can do over the weekend:
Friday evening/night: You can go for drinks with your colleagues/girls, talk about your week and basically just breathe a little. Doing that doesn’t require you to get all suited up but rather a casual one. That’s why this Friday look had us dressed down. I am wearing an off-shoulder Ankara top, and this beautiful pair of black pants from TJ Max and these amazing shoes from The Shoe Shop have been here for three years now (I know, crazy right?) Debs of debscorner for a nifty pair of jeans with this beautiful peach colored and striped top that I secretly want (putting it out there, who knows, she can decide to bless me with it… lol)
Another option for Friday evenings is a date with your special someone. Of course.
Saturday afternoon/evening: There are a whole lot of options for Saturday so I’ll just list as many as I can. You can go and see a movie at the cinemas, have a picnic in the park with friends and family, go swimming, have a spa day or even drive around town and discover new places.
Sunday afternoon/evening: This is personally my rest and plan day. After I get back from church, I rarely ever go out because I’d rather just stay at home to plan for the week ahead. I highly recommend this to everyone. If you get bored there’s always Netflix, right? J
Finally, some people love stay cations so some weekends you find them just opting to check out of their houses and into a fancy hotel to get pampered. That’s just like Chioma of yhitschioma who is clearly staycation-ready in this photo. Chioma, I want to be like you when I grow up, lol.
I will love to read some feedback on what you all do over the weekends. Ciao!
